"You want to know my story?" He asks, eyes a muddy brown color that seems to pierce through me and freeze me from the intensity. My past confidence has now been broken, and I literally don't know what to say next.
"Yes, I mean, it's not like I'm asking you to fuck me," I say, and then playfully add, "I mean, if you want to, I wouldn't mind." He seems to not understand it was a joke as I see him stare at me with the same expressionless face he had before.
"It still feels intrusive. Also, I feel like I'm not gaining something by telling you my secrets." He says, and that's when I registered he wanted something in return for spilling everything that is to know of him.
"Fine," I sigh, "lets make a deal." I state, and then watch him. His elegance, his straight poise, his weird way of talking. He seems so abnormal. That's when it settled in.
"I'll show you how to be a normal teenager, and you'll teach me all there is to know about you." I say, and then I see the hesitance in his eyes. He's thinking about it. There's a glint as he leans into me, making me recline back. His brown eyes vibrant.
Ariana Salvatore. Most people may describe her as a sassy, snarky, and very confident individual. Which is strange for someone who has been bullied throughout her life thanks to her weight.
She may be in the bigger side, but that just made her toughen up and build a wall around herself. That was, of course, until she ends up ending for the first time in the library, and coincidentally finding the secret hideout of the mysterious, expressionless, and definitely gorgeous Daniel Belgrave.
After a deal was made, Ariana finds herself trapped in a crazy senior year of spontaneous moments with Daniel.
Well, crazy is an understatement.
