Looking through a one way glass. Seeing a small crying child, covered in a blanket.
The scene changes, she's in a field high pitched laughter, in it's innocence's colours the air.
The scene changes, soft whimpers from the next room brings her out of her bed, whispering soothing words.
The scene changes, she turns ten, small hands, covered in chocolate tugging her white dress.
Abruptly the laughing becomes a terrified scream. The chocolate prints become red.
The scene changes. Racing in an ambulance, panic closing her chest.
The scene changes, seeing through a one way glass. Hushed urgent voices. Beeping.
The scene changes. Raised voices.

She slowly got out of bed and tiptoed to the fridge and got a glass of chilled milk. She then opened the french doors leading to the balcony. The cool brisk breeze blew her chestnut hair behind her. At shoulder blade length she considered it long. Her mother though otherwise. As she turned she caught a flash of white. She looked back and saw a really hot car driving real slow along the road. She frowned, why have a car that can do 360 mph, if you don't even want to do 30?? Well, it must be one it those beautiful people coming to visit a neighbour and got lost. Alexis sighed and closed the doors. On her way to her room she put the glass in the kitchen and switched the light off. In the dark she tiptoed to the bed and covered herself. She looked up at the digital clock flashing : MIDNIGHT🕛
