Jade is Sarah's twin sister, the only kook (apart from Kie) who was welcomed into the pogues with welcome and warm arms. Rose -her step mother- had an unfair disliking of the girl causing her to feel unwelcome in her own house. After a fight with Rose in grade 4, Jade was walking along the beach, dried tears littering her face, a certain blonde headed pogue was surfing with his bestfriend when he saw her. They hit off almost instantly and from then on she was a pogue.
