Sixteen year old Nosa is okay with being a loner. He doesn't have social anxiety-- he's Catholic and his mum promised you can't love Jesus and have a disorder. He's just weird and he's not good at talking to people but that doesn't mean there's something wrong with him. It does mean that he and Irekan could never be friends.
Irekan's parents moved them back to Nigeria to straighten him up-- literally. Being Nigerian and queer has never been easy but now he has to at least try to 'ungay' himself to keep his family together. And that means no falling in love with Nosa's stupid face.

Two boys fall in love over novels, anime and rock music that's definitely going to get one of them killed.
