REVISING
Revised version is until Chapter 13.
How deeply do you believe in the existence of a world that stands in complete contrast to your own? And for how long can one endure the yearning for an end to the pain and sorrow, and instead seek the embrace of happiness and joy?
Gael Torres, a sixteen-year-old gay scholar at a private Catholic academy, grapples with the complexities of poverty, identity, and academics, all while endeavoring to live a typical life. Despite confronting resistance from his homophobic parents, Gael finds unwavering support from his best and only friend, Armin Fidel, who encourages Gael to embrace his true identity in the face of opposition and prompting him to signify his authentic self, veiled from his family.
Unfortunate events then subside as Gael uncovers the academic manipulations of his rival, Pressy Damaso, who, with the assistance of the school's principal-her own grandfather-unjustly alters the rankings, resulting in Gael being placed second in class despite his willingness and dedication.
To make matters worse, Gael's crush, Austin Bautista, discloses his affection for Pressy, leaving Gael devastated and contemplating his own demise. However, a ray of hope appears as Gael suddenly finds himself transported into a world where reality is the complete inverse of what he has known, and he was given a chance to stay in that world for fifteen days.

People disappear, like how the calendar changes its month, how the days bounce from one another, and how the birds fly whenever they perceive danger.
Only memories remain. The marks. The bond that it formed.
But that's not how it works with Patroclus, an Alzheimer's disease patient. In his case, as people leave, so are the remembrances.
Nothing stays. Nothing being left.
Being diagnosed with an illness, Patroclus has solely one thing left he yearns to attain. And a stranger named Achilles will help him clear the last thing on his list.
With fingers intertwined with each other, they will count the 300 lanterns of Binondo, together.
