The way she walks and the way she talks, her every move making me look at her. The way she laughs and the way she makes me laugh. Everything about her always stays hidden, as she herself is a huge mystery. A mystery which I can never unfold, yet I get more and more attached to her everyday.
I had never seen her, yet my mind always managed to somehow revolve around her. I always wondered how she might be but never did I ever get a glance.
No matter how hard I tried to focus on something else, my mind, eyes and all my nerves and senses stayed on her. And when she was not there, there used to become this hole in my heart that never went. My soul felt incomplete and mind went crazy. And if that's what love is....then I think I had fallen.
Ever since Ivy was young, she always dreamed of love stories and handsome princes on white horses that would come and sweep the girl off her feet and to the castle. she lived in her own little world dreaming about fairytales and considered life itself to be a wonderful day dream.
But Ivy was young, naive, innocent and vulnerable. She had no idea what the outside world was really like. And she definitely had no clue what evils lay outside her little fairytale stories...
But as young as she was, she soon got to know how wrong she was in so many ways.
But this lesson came with a price - a heavy price that she had to pay for the rest of her days. Such a price that it made Ivy to look back at all her fairytale stories and the word 'love' in a whole different way.
She sealed her heart, never to let anyone in. She started to tell herself that the world was nothing but a pile of horrors and that there was no such thing as true love. But once again, she was wrong.
Fate was the only thing that made her the monster that she became, but will fate give her salvation too? Salvation from herself?
A legend. A girl. And a monster....It all started with one word.....Hate
