The Wild Child
*Book 1 in The Wild Child Series*
He kisses my neck and my brain feels like mush. I can't think of what I wanted to say or all of the points I'd made clearly showing that us getting closer isn't a good idea. I try to push out of his arms but he only lets me get a few inches away before he stops me. "You can't stop that feeling, Princess. I can't either, believe me, I've tried."
"You're going to hurt me."
He shakes his head, "I can't promise you that I won't. I'm human, and I am so fucking far from perfect, but I want you. I want all of you to myself."
"I am ..." I start and swallow hard. Brandon is right and the realization hits me so hard. "I am scared."
His hands find my face and he nods his head up and down. "I know, but you don't have to be. I may fuck up ... No, I know I'm gonna fuck up in some way, but i'll never intentionally hurt you. I lo- I care about you too much. I always have."
Brandon Iverson is bad in every sense of the word. He steals, He has tattoos, he rides a motorcycle, he breaks rules and he breaks hearts. There is one person that can calm this wild child and her name is Halle Clayton. All he has to do is get her to see that she is what he really needs.
Halle has thought Brandon's ways to get her attention were annoying almost her whole life, but now he's switched things up and instead of picking on her, he's taking care of her. Halle tries hard to ignore his advances but he makes things really hard when he proves to her that she really is the only one he cares about.
