Y/n grew up in Russia, forced into the Red Room by Dreykov at a young age, she quickly became a formidable assassin. Her path then took her to Hydra, before being sold to an organised crime group, working under a woman she knows only as 'Sasha'. Her past is full of lies, deceit and red. That is, until one assignment goes wrong - and her whole world changes.
This is a slow burning romance between the reader and Nat, intended to feel more realistic and fulfilling. The story is set very roughly around 2016 (but with some details changed) and is original, therefore it doesn't follow exact events from the films.
