"I don't chase many girls, at least, not more than one at a time," he says mysteriously, only heightening my curiosity. "But when I do have a girl to chase, I don't call her anything derogatory like a 'target'."
"I just hold her like this," Jace says, demonstrating by moving his hands. One tightens around my waist while the other finds its way to my chin. He lifts my head up and to the side so my ear and the side of my neck are in his view. "Then, I move closer, like this," he hushes, lowering his face. I feel his breathing down my neck, the warm air slipping down the collar of my shirt. Goose bumps form over my skin instantly.
"Then," Jace's voice is the only thing I can focus on, though my brain is putting up a good fight, screaming at me as loud as it can to pull away.
"Then I kiss her."
Story about a girl whose life is turning into a novel, in more ways than one, all thanks to an annoying bad boy and a list of problems.
