Inspector Stanley Mole doesn't mind a hard case, but things have gotten out of hand. There's a killer who escapes to a parallel universe, a frozen caveman with a bullet in his skull, a woman who claims to have witnessed her own murder, a toddler assassin, time-traveling dictators, and subatomic-particle sniffing butterflies. For Mole, this time more than just his reputation is on the line.

The phrase "crippled albino midget gypsy" has at least two, maybe three words that might offend the extremely politically correct. :)

Downright stupid- but great to read. Pleased to hear you enjoy the cavemen story!

@linahanson I'm reading the caveman story now, liking it. yes, not the smartest move to hire a private detective from the future!

O-K. But then, why should time travellers necessarily have an idea about what's going on. The guy I mentioned with those cavemen also has got a time-travel novel. It his case it's not a car. It's cow-muck. So this fits right in. Like your no-nonsense approach to time travel. Voted.
