Keeping It Human (On Hold)
Being human in a world full of Vampires isn't easy. Delvina May knows this and is doing whatever it takes to survive along with the rest of the dwindling human population.
However when her world takes a turn for the worse and her trust in other's is walking on a razor's edge, her life threatened more so than ever before, Delvina finally realises what it means to be human and how falling in love always has a price, no matter what your species.
"Hey! I have stuff-" I started to say but was cut off as Drake used his Vampire speed to grab me and pin me to the bathroom wall, his mouth crashing down on mine.
Drake's hands grabbed my hips harshly as he stepped closer to me, his front now flush against mine as he continued to kiss me in an almost desperate manner.
Oh holy shit.
This couldn't be happening. Oh sweet molasses this couldn't be happening.
Drake's mouth and hands made zaps of electricity flow through me, warmth seeping into my bones as my eyes shut on their own accord, my body relaxing into Drake's firm grip.
All thoughts of pulling away flew out the window, my hands going from their place against the wall to his abdomen, fingers tracing the dips and curves of his muscles before slowly sliding up and wrapping around his neck. Both hands threading into his hair and gripping it tightly to the point it might have hurt.
I sighed into the kiss as Drake's tongue traced my bottom lip, asking for entrance which I denied.
This only made Drake growl, however, and switch his hands to the backs of my thighs that he then used to hoist me up and wrapped them around his waist.
Gasping at the feeling Drake took the chance to slip his tongue into my mouth, filling the kiss with a moan that I returned when he ground his lower body against mine.
Oh by God you can definitely strike me down now. I felt like I was in seventh heaven.
The worst part however was the fact I was enjoying it, when I knew I shouldn't.
