While grieving the recent loss of his roommate, Jungkook is trying to get back on his feet before he ends up losing the rental house he and his best friend worked so hard to afford. However, working two jobs with extreme shifts isn't easy, and exhaustion is settling in quicker than he assumed.

Things feel off in the house, and the once lively atmosphere feels as if it's taken an eerie turn. Surely that has to be all in his mind, right? Battling exhaustion and grief is difficult, after all, especially when he's alone.

But when his worst fears start coming to life, perhaps Jungkook isn't as alone as he thought.

"Oh, love, monsters are real." They met face to face, but this time, he could see beyond the kind smile.

"And they look just like people."
