April is the daughter of a famous singer and a well known actor. Her mother died in a car accident and her father wanted her to sing like her mother. April can't though. Ever since her mother died she has stuttered. For that reason her father abandons her. That same dark night she finds a old mansion and its strange master. At first she is unsure about him but soon begins to see the master for who he is underneath the face. Will April ever speak again without stuttering and will the dark master of the house ever learn to love the light?

You are telling the reader instead of showing. If you show us throw actions we are more likely to connect or feel sympathy for the main character.

I forgot how spectacular this book is! I'm rereading it because I didn't read all the way until the end last time... I really admire your writing!
