"You once said you wouldn't fall for a bitch with a leash, Konstantin," she mocked. "Tell me, has the monster fallen?"
________

Van Volkov was cold, angry and looking forward to the day he would finally be rid of his duties, that is, until Aira Blight entered his life. He's now wrapped around the little finger of a human girl, and he has sworn to protect her until the day he has to finally say goodbye.

Over one year has passed since Aira came to Russia after being rescued from her grandfather's compound. Eighteen years old and finally stepping out into the world as a young adult, Aira is ready to make Van see just how much he means to her, but with Van suddenly becoming distant, Aira must make a decision that impacts not only herself, but everyone around her.

Van saved her from certain death many years before, and now, it's time for Aira to save him, even if she has to cross worlds and face the powerful spirit responsible for Konstantin's curse.

Well, I was expecting a little less from Van but I'll take whatever praise Aira gets.
I get that, but can't you respect the fact that everyone has things that are special to them, and YOUR OPINION ISN'T ALL THAT DAMN MATTERS!
Honestly, when is that girl ever actually happy? And Drum! What an spectacular consideration!
Why hasn't someone given that 'innocent' faker a good kick to the rump yet?
*Sighs* I don't know what I expected. I think Mr. Ambrose and Van would have a grand time chatting (or giving icy glares in Mr. Ambrose's case) about their messed up love lives.
I doubt his time is nearly up. I'm sure he has a few more centuries to serve.
