She's the ocean and I am the sailor. I want to explore her and find out what's beneath the surface; but in the end I just get lost at sea. We all come across unpredictable, short tempered and obnoxious people in our lives. Unfortunately, I was the unlucky soul who happened to unwillingly stumble into the life of the complicated Lauren Jauregui and, boy, did she flip my world upside down. I had always wondered why, that of all the people Lauren choose to bully, she picked me. I wasn't the smartest nor most popular. I was just normal. I wasn't some stereotypical nerd she had to bully just because that's the way society is and that's what happens in teen movies. And I definitely was not some girl that Lauren Jauregui had an undying love for and because she didn't know how to express this so called "love" she decided to make my life a living hell - God no, definitely not. That only happens in cliché (and cringe worthy) love stories. So, for the majority of my high school experience I always took the longer way to class to avoid my bully, I always kept my distance from the raven-haired girl and I always made sure to stay out of her way. However, none of these things worked because somehow fate decided that we were meant to cross paths and I was glad that she picked me (looking back, of course) because, now, I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm not going to lie though. I had a stubborn mind and a stubborn heart when it came to Lauren, especially when I did not know the truth. But when I found out why she decided to bully me. Why she decided to make my life a living hell, well, that's when it started to get interesting... Because in the end, only the truth will set us free.
