At a certain juncture of time in the Middle Ages. A tyrannical king ruled his kingdom with an iron fist. His every whim was law, and his subjects lived in constant fear of his wrath. This is the story of his reign and another two brave souls...

A 17-year-old girl finds herself trapped in a cycle of fear and danger. When one fateful day came, a huge army swarmed her hometown only to capture the gorgeous of them all, and that would be the start of her long and everlasting nightmare...

On the other hand, one young prince found himself involved in a conspiracy cooked for him. However, he meets an unexpected maid who will save his life but also unknowingly turn his future into a daily bogey of horror and fear.

Can the girl attain a sense of peace despite the challenges in the forthcoming sections? Will the conspirators succeed in their sincere desire to eliminate the prince? Above all, what is the correlation that exists between them and the king?

Protector of the Crown

35 parts Complete

COMPLETED BOOK I was trained to be a weapon for the kingdom. I was forced into servitude to the King after my family was ripped from me. My new life was covered in the blood of my family...and now I had to protect the royal family who ordered my parents' death. They're all monsters, except for him...he was my charge and as much as I wanted to hate him, the prince was nothing like his vicious father. He was a warm light in my cold and dark world. I was supposed to be controlled, cold, calculating and deadly, but he made me crave freedom, warmth and all the things I thought died with my family. I no longer knew my path...but I knew it led to him. ****** Don't hesitate to let me know what you think of my book or if you see grammatical errors/plot holes! *16+ is recommended...sex is implied but not described (I came up with that little rhyme while I was brushing my teeth this morning!) and there are scenes of violence.
