In all the years Cal had been alive, he felt no pain. His nerves had been cut off since he was born, but it was never realized until Cal had a dance with death. A bullet, straight through the chest of young Cal. He felt nothing, he did not shed any tears, he didn't even blink an eye. His parents were told that his nerves had been basically cut. He felt no pain, something in his brain wasn't working. After that, Cal was abandoned by his family for not being normal. When he turned 10, Cal was picked up by a woman named Mother Miranda. He was added to her family, but Cal grows sick of the ways of their so called 'family' and decides it's finally time to break the chains that bound him. It's time to escape.
