The year is 2083, and for the last 40 years, Humanity has enjoyed a golden age of science and technology, due to faster-than-light space travel. Colonies have flourished due to population spikes, creating thriving economies and large industries. A group of colonial scientists suddenly awaken an alien race we will all learn to fear.

Faced with the extinction of the human race, a regiment of super-soldiers are sent to find a way to stop the aliens. Kyle Fletcher and his team must stop them before Humanity is wiped out.

An action packed story filled with adventure that will leave you on the edge of your seat, this is an odyssey of war.

Aiden, If you ever feel like slinging some short stories for an E-zine look up @Ooorah. It's an awesome team. And we are always on the hunt for "freshmeat".

Caliber gauges are getting a bit archaic. Use metric, more people understand it as a size better than "50 caliber". Truthfully, unless you've actually held a bullet from a 50 cal. Barrett it doesn't make much of an "impact".

The "internal dialog" seems a little stiff. However, the story sounds promising.

OK what the hell does EOD mean 'Exit only Doors' um 'Earrings on Demand' how about 'Eunuchs on Display' ? How defining acronyms before using them - helpful to the reader don't you think

Very interesting start, I did notice that the Colonel didn't mean a planets name upon the Dytari attacking a colony. Also noticed you miss an E in "haven't" when Martin asked regarding the training. Excluding those two things I like where it's going.
