┆An Original Story┆

𝐀 tale centering on a futuristic civilization set in the year 2630; all of humanity is now inhabiting a desolate island shrouded by walls as their only protection from the blood-thirsty alien clan that shifted into their realm 600 years prior with no spelled intent aside from manslaughter.

With more than ninety percent of the population wiped out on the first appearance of the creatures, the survivors of the onslaught had been forced into hiding and along the line, resurfaced to establish societies with all individuals discarding their previous cultures, traditions, customs, and beliefs to pursue a common goal: surviving. This ultimately brought about the founding of humanity's present "birdcage", Island Celare.

And now, mankind yearns for a hero; someone who'll turn the tables on their alien adversities and set them free from this plague. When the prophecy of the 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐎𝐧𝐞 is revealed to a human vessel in a vision, it comes as a spectacle to the avid race.

Freedom at long last? If only it were that easy.

Now insert twelve-year-old grump, Oliver Hitler. The boy just wants to live out his lifespan in peace... and then die. But that's a mighty lot to ask for especially since destiny has chosen him to play a part that demands more than what he can give.

Note to mastermind alien king: the person who's been foreseen end you is a manipulative heran brat with no parents, no thoughts for the future, and apparently no care for the dilemma of his kind.
