For Rachel Beckett the Olympics was a huge defining moment in her life, something she had been working tirelessly towards since she was five years old. Winning that gold medal meant everything to her and when she finally got there and choked, her life was turned upside down. What do you do when everything you've worked for your whole life is gone and you instantly go from being America's Sweetheart to a laughing stock? Well I can tell you what Rachel did. She ran. She moved to Texas, changed her hair color, started going by her middle name and tried to forget she ever did figure skating. When she finally went back to her hometown three years later to visit her family, she ran into her old figure skating coach and he convinced her that she could have a second chance to make her dream of Olympic gold happen. Falling in love with the new hockey coach wasn't part of the plan. Making her comeback ended up being a lot harder than she thought it would be, especially when family turmoil, anxiety, tragedy and love get in the way, but maybe a second chance and someone to believe in her is all she needs to make it happen.
