I've served countless kings, faked countless deaths, bided my time waiting for you.
Many boys will bring you flowers. But someday you'll meet a body who'll learn your favourite flower, your favourite song, your favourite sweet.
Love speaks in flowers, truth requires thorns.
The problem with wanting is that it makes us weak.
When everyone knows you're a monster, you needn't waste time doing every monstrous things.
I will strip away all that you know, all that you love until you have no shelter but me.
Fine make me your villain.
But I've been made to protect you & only in death I'd be kept from this oath.
I'll come for you & if I couldn't walk, I'd crawl to you & no matter how broken I am, I'd fight my way back knives drawls, pistol blazing. Because that's what I do. I never stop fighting.

Complete! A Six of Crows AU: Set after Crooked Kingdom, before Rule of Wolves. The Crows are all still together, and Matthias isn't dead. The Crows have been hired by a mysterious Ravkan to steal an ancient book from the most secure library in the world - in a country they've even barely heard of, let alone been to before.
