Every day, Alex finds new ways to die. Every day, Alex fails. Don't be mistaken - Alex isn't immortal, a demon, or a ghost haunting an eighteen-year-old body. Alex is just ill, and stupid, and tired. All he wants to do is jump headfirst into the Great Perhaps, but the world is just not letting him. Not his doctors, not his parents, not even this random, suddenly appeared stranger named Hana. Hana, for some weird, odd, unjustifiable reason, will not let Alex die. And this is a good thing, of course. It's a good thing, you'd think. It's a good thing to not let Alex die. It's a good thing to not let anybody die. There's just one bad thing - Hana isn't real.
