Lestat has always been the one to control everything. Ever since his heart darkened from constantly being abandoned by his loved ones throughout his immortal life. He lost his pure self long ago and didn't dare to dream of getting it back.

   Daphne had always been known as the silent daughter of the most complicated man in New Orleans. After her mother was murdered in the dark night when she was hardly twelve years old, she hadn't spoken a single word since. 

   But of course that was only eleven years ago. Things are bound to change. 

   Not even a few months had passed after Lestat changed his new companion Louis when he roughly crossed paths with a poor distraught Daphne on the run from her worst enemy, her father.
 
   As soon as their eyes met the next night Lestat knew there was a deadly storm ready to bring chaos down upon them all.
