Bucky finds out he has seven-year-old twins, which is news to him. After rescuing them from the GRC's Commission on Superhuman Activities branch, he realizes that they might also be a little super soldier-y. Not a lot, not exactly like him, at least for now. But even a little is enough to make some people interested in how that happened and how that could be replicated to create a whole homegrown super soldier squad. Bucky and eventually Sam (it's not like he was going to sit this one out once he heard what was going on) wind up on another worldwide trip to keep the twins out of the CSA's hands and to figure out where they came from. Also, Bucky figures out how to be a dad.

Therefore: tea parties, Disney marathons, and freeze tag, as well as running from shady government entities, underground crime lords, and the newly minted U.S. Agent.

Two war veterans. One broken system. And a fake relationship the whole country is about to fall for. Senator Y/N has never believed in heroes. Not even the ones with vibranium arms and tragic pasts. So when Bucky Barnes is sworn in as the new Congressman from New York, she doesn't expect much more than chaos in committee meetings and awkward hallway encounters. What she doesn't expect is finding common ground. Or laughing at his dry humor. Or ending up in his bed after a late-night vote. They agree it means nothing. Just tension relief between two exhausted, overworked public servants. Until a key legislative bill they've been building together starts facing public opposition-and their communications teams come up with a brilliant (read: reckless) idea to save it. "America loves a love story," they say. "Especially one between two broken soldiers trying to make things right." So now they're fake dating. Doing interviews, holding hands in public, making it look real. The problem? It's already starting to feel that way. And the more they fake it, the more they realize that nothing between them has ever been fake. Authors note: This story takes place in the MCU timeline, right after The Falcon and the Winter Soldier-but with a twist: Bucky Barnes is now a Congressman. From here, the story breaks canon and follows a new path. I'm mixing tropes I love: Coworkers to Lovers, Fake Relationship, and Friends with Benefits. There will be politics, tension, intimacy, and emotional slow burn. Also, English is not my first language, so thanks for your patience! Hope you enjoy Capitol Heat.

If you love action, adventure, found family tropes, healing from trauma and sarcasm- this story is for you! Please give this story a go- I really need feedback as I am writing this for my friend for her birthday and need to know if it sucks or not! lol! Help!!! (Cover not mine) (Marvel characters- please don't copyright me😭) ******* "Who are you?" "I'm the one who has been sent to kill you." He watched as their expressions morphed from surprise, uneasiness then back to a controlled neutrality. He knew he'd given away his directive, but perhaps now they would be more cautious or overestimate him. Whatever they did, he'd now given them doubt, which would work in his advantage. "You've been sent to kill HIM?" Questioned Wilson, amusement playing on his lips. "Him. And you." He kept calm, matching their stares with his own. "Oh, well that's good to know." Wilson muttered as Barnes drew breath. "So why are we still alive?" Barnes' eyes looked straight through him, "If I know Hydra- and I think I do, we should be dead. So, why are we still here?"
