This is the 2nd volume in The Librarian and the Fox Princess series.
It is highly recommended that readers read the first volume, The Librarian and the Fox Princess: A Donghua Dijun and Bai Fengjiu Story, as there is a whole world built around these two, their family and friends. They have a rich history with specific words, phrases, jokes, and references that make up the beloved backdrop for their interactions.
The almighty god has finally found his match in Bai Fengjiu, his mate, best friend, and betrothed. The safe, intimate, and healing attachment they have developed will be tested by ghosts from his past. Together with their unique band of beasts, demons, and immortals, they'll traverse through challenges and adventures-from the everyday, to the epic.
This is a work of therapeutic fan-fiction which will contain mature depictions of emotional and physical intimacy. Like Volume I, the comedic themes and motifs highlight a particularly irreverent sense of humor. Reader discretion advised. Readers looking for a fast-paced plot-driven story are encouraged to seek fulfillment elsewhere. My writing style is at times slice-of-life-ish and while there is definitely a plot, I love focusing on psychological development and interpersonal interactions.

What happens after Dong Hua and Xiao Bai get out from the chasm. This is a variation of the story in the 2nd book "The Pillow Book" in the Three Lives, Three Worlds Series of Tangqi Gongzi. In this variation, there is no Bai Gun Gun yet at the start of the story. There will be many sweet moments here for our couple but it would not be without a little bit of angst. Don't worry, this will have a happy ending as I hate sad endings. Also, for the most part, I assumed that the reader is familiar with the story of Eternal Love of Dreams as I will not go into too much details on the background of the story and the characters. I sometimes will go back to a previously published chapter to make some changes to make the story better and edit grammatical errors. I'm sorry if this will cause any inconvenience to the readers. There may be some chapters with more mature contents. I will try to flag them at the beginning of the chapter. This is the first book I have written so please bear with me. Bai Fengjiu is a cheerful and lively Princess doted on by everyone in the kingdom especially her grandfather and aunt, she has everything any girl could dream off although she had everything she was very hard working but deep down in her heart she wanted to meet Dong Hua Dijun the man her heart admires very much. However Dong Hua was the kind of man who wasn't reachable and even though Fengjiu wanted to act shameless she was afraid of disappointing her grandfather but one day an opportunity presents itself, when Dong Hua fights with Yanchu the demon king he accidentally open the earth stone trapping Fengjiu inside, and she had injured herself very badly after fighting with the unclean spirit. Dong Hua's heart was moved by this little princess that fought unclean spirits with him, and he started taking care of her even when they left the earth he took her back to heaven and nursed back to health. Will he fall in love with her and will Fengjiu finally get a chance to make him fall in love with her.Complete
