I did a research project to explore whether The Singularity could happen sooner than expected. Like maybe RIGHT NOW?
Technically speaking that turns out to be very difficult, but not impossible, if we assume a series of precise breakthroughs.
The storyline depicts the last few weeks before this transition, an event more awesome than anything we can imagine.
It's written as a collection of incidents and developments set in the VERY near future. Each brief chapter could be read independently. No equations are used in this version of the story.
The main character is not really part of the process, but gets to witness things up close. Unfortunately, there was no way I could make him survive the events.

A few weeks ago, a research facility was studying an ancient species of sentient, blood-thirsty, psychopathic humanoids nicknamed "Grims." The experiment has gone wrong and they broke containement. The Facility is under lockdown and all research staff were dead. A team of Special Forces begins to explore the facility and to follow Protocol A-V. But something goes awry. Powerscalling : Cosmology of the Raonverse
This book, although not considered a complete novel it'll have some tips and info about the powerscalling system of the Raonverse (a.k.a my stories) that will help you out about how to powerscale sertain OCs of mine in regards to their strength and their feats that are going to be revealed throughout the story. (The Cosmology isn't complete yet so the completed cosmology once the book is complete will be way bigger than the current one) P.
