Cassandra, Cassie, Wilson has always been down-to-earth. She maintains her friendship with Julie, thus gaining a new friend in Flynn. 

When Julie performs a song to try to get back into the music program, Cassie jumps at the opportunity to help ease her friend's nerves. 

One boy sets his sights upon her and she has to take the strange circumstance in thought as to whether she'll reciprocate or not. 

Will they find gold in their darkest moments or will her family get in the way of a possible silver lining?
