It started as a contest, a bridal contest where unmarried maidens have no choice but to partake in the selection. Some maidens were excited to take part so as to win the heart of the crown prince while some wish they had freedom to make a choice of their own. Chinaza was one of those maidens who detested this custom, she never wanted anything to do with the palace and if she had her way, she would definitely escape this confinement. Her elder sister Adamma, who is known as the village damsel doesn't eagerly look forward to the selection either but she wasn't too against it like her sister as she had always been the kindhearted obedient daughter unlike her sister. The crown prince of Udo, prince Arinze was left with no choice but to select from a number of 20 maidens to pick a wife. The village custom doesn't care if he agrees with the system or not, it has been the tradition of their forefathers. Left with no choice but to go on with his father's decree, he met Adamma, the kindhearted damsel with a sweet voice and of course also met Chinaza, the crazy maiden who wished she could end the selection and get the hell away from the boring prince who was no fun. But what would she do when she starts having feelings for the prince who her sister also admires?
