Desperate for love and to make sense of her mother's contradictory behaviors and spiritual changes (from her mother's infidelities and alcoholism to a strict religious cult, and back again), Marie starts a friendship with a make belief friend, Ana. Ana is beautiful, loving, all-knowing and lives in an older version of Marie's house. Ana is the best friend one could hope for...that is until she encourages you to pursue a life threatening path. A book loosely based on my life: my relationship with my mother, my father, my autistic brother and my sister; my life in a cult; and my battle with anorexia. Nevertheless, this book is a work of fiction (imaginary friend, haunted house, mystical creatures, paranormal, etc).

Horror is an interesting person, and by far the most difficult genre to get ahold of. It took me forever to convince him to sit down and have an interview with me, and most of the questions he answered by physically showing me what he wanted me to feel from him. He made me mourn, he made me panic, he made me feel lonely, he intensified my fears. I almost feel sorry for him now, because he can't feel love, or compassion. Just...a cold and pale creature; strong, bloodthirsty. His eyes hold all of the pain hiding in this world. He made me curious, and I paid for that curiosity in full. He showed me the souls of fallen heroes, screaming in the dark. He showed me what it feels like to be helpless to a force I can't control. He wrote me a narrative to read. It's perfect writing material, if tamed correctly. Compilation of stuff I wrote in 2015-16. I was 13 or 14 years old at the time, so it's interesting to look back on it sometimes. As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. The hand that was on my breast had moved to my waist, keeping me close even as I tipped towards him. His hand was still on my sex, leisurely teasing the area. "Please," I whispered. Something mixed between a growl and a purr escaped him. It vibrated deeply from his chest. I thought he would kiss me but he didn't. His lips hovered over mine before they softly traced my cheek. I gasped when his hands moved to under my arms, moving me until I straddled his thigh.

So while they try to rebuild their population and plan their revenge, they take out as many supernaturals as they can. But everything changes for Willow when she meets Keaton, Everett, Aizen, and Devlin. *** *This is a fantasy reverse-harem romance novel.
