Some nightmares are good. Some daydreams are bad. Fact. Most nightmares spin out of truths, therefore protects us from danger. Daydreams are a haunting vision of the possible, too-happy future which often causes disappointment. Yet they're so similar, because both of them are so addictive. Addictive like a high, like a sugar rush that you don't want to miss. But it's not real, is it? It's a mirage, a vision, an unconscious hallucination. You don't know if your dreams are real and your life is not. You don't know if your nightmares will jump into existence. You don't know anything, you're not even sure about your own existence. Maybe the people in your dream are dreaming about a world like yours with people in it like you. Maybe... Questions. Questions that can never be answered. And, while asking them, just remember that burning desire. That flaming addiction. That sort of addiction to those daydreams. And those nightmares. → → • ← ← #1 Letter-Writing #1 Stories from Shuchen X #1 Stuff and Things #4 Cool Stuff #4 Descriptions #5 Creative Non-Fiction #6 Inequality #7 Book of Poems #13 Meaning #17 Creative Writing #17 Description #17 Meaningful #35 Bitter #64 Theories #110 Philosophy #174 Creative #240 Random Stories #256 Random Thoughts #278 Poem #305 Stuff #553 Letters → → • ← ← All rights reserved.
