"Marinette!" One blur of black and one of red came out of her purse. Screw secret identity, they needed to know if their holder was okay. 
Everyone who had seen one of those before had froze in their tracks. The others froze in fear since they didn't know what it was. It could have hurt them. 
"Marinette, I need you to stay awake. I can heal your injuries. You just need to stay awake!" Tikki quickly said. 
Marinette could hear her but continued her coughing. She couldn't respond. The taste of blood, her blood, was in her mouth.

What had stopped them from taking off their masks and changing clothes was the portal that had opened up from above. From it, a girl, who looked on the verge of dying, had fallen down from it.

Due to being almost being beaten to death, Plagg and Tikki make a wish. They teleported their holder to where she would be safe and loved. Only time would tell when that would happen.All Rights Reserved

"I know what it's like to think you're in love, only to realize maybe it wasn't." Chat's eyes brightened. "Wait, are you... seeing someone too?" Ladybug nodded. "Yes. I've been spending time with someone. He's thoughtful, always makes me smile. I think I'm falling for him." Chat's eyes widened in surprise, but he smiled genuinely. "That's amazing, m'lady! You deserve that." "Thanks, Chat." Ladybug smiled. "I think we've both grown, realizing we needed to open up to others, to find happiness beyond our masks." He nodded. "For the longest time, I thought being in love with you was my only option, but now, she makes me feel something I didn't know I could. I think I'm falling in love with her." Ladybug said softly, "She's lucky to have you. I'm happy for you, Chat." Chat flashed a grin. "Thanks, m'lady. But you haven't told me much about your guy. Is he as amazing as you?" Ladybug laughed. "He's great. We've known each other for a while. We used to be friends, but over time, I started seeing him differently." Chat's eyes gleamed. "A longtime friend, huh? That's interesting. In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon). This story takes place in the world of the cartoon but I have added some elements of the anime and my own spin on things. It's mostly plot and romance with occasional action. Being superheroes is a privilege given by mysterious, magical creatures called Kwamis. Tikki is Ladybug's Kwami, supporting Marinette. And Plagg is Chat noir's Kwami, a Camembert cheese maniac.
