Annabeth just moved into her new house in the middle of the woods. Her best friend, Thalia, keeps insisting that the house must be haunted since it was built in the Victorian Era. Annabeth doesn't believe in ghosts, they are nothing but a folktale. 

But what happens when every night as Annabeth is falling asleep, the old piano downstairs starts playing The Mockingbird Song: an old song that has a dark past that goes with it?

In this story, Annabeth's beliefs are thrown around in the air as the ghost downstairs won't leave her alone. Alone with her current (asshole) boyfriend, Luke Castellan, will Annabeth figure out what the hell is going on?

Annabeth is part of the Chases, the family that runs one of the departments of the Magistrates. Annabeth's father, Frederick, runs this department. It takes care of all petty crimes.
