"I told you not to fall in love with me"
Aasia Oliver. 17. Muslim girl. Nathaniel James. 18. Lone wolf.
You'd think someone who moves around a lot, doesn't get attached easily? That's usually the case with Aasia Oliver - but that is until she meets people who change her life. Aasia may seem like an ordinary teenager, but she is different from every single person amongst her, from the way she dresses to the way she acts. And then there's Nathaniel, someone who you would never think would ever have a conversation with someone like Aasia, let alone open up to them.
Two completely different people who meet. They say opposites attract don't they? Well then this must be the biggest opposite of all time, because a girl like Aasia and a guy like Nathaniel opening up to each other only happens in movies. But do they only become friends, or could there be more to their friendship?
(I am british, so the inoccrect american terms I use, please ignore it)
I know she isn't wearing a hijab in the cover... but whatever.
This is like a fantasy, fairy tale, I know this happening in real life is not most likely, but it's fiction and I wanted to write it, you can read it if you want, if you don't like the idea of a muslim girl being friends with a non muslim boy, don't read it. Also, if you read this, you'd realise they barely touch.
Before people hate and comment rude things about how this is not how a muslim acts, I would like to tell you, she is a average Muslim teeange girl, who prays her five daily prayers, and is not perfect. I am relating her to myself and to the girls amongst me and majority of the teenage muslim girls in the western countries, I am aware of how a muslim should and should not act, so please hold your comments and advice, because this is fiction and not based on real life. Any hate comments will be ignored. Enjoy.
