"Such a spoiled girl, aren't you?" He nipped at my ear causing me to gasp. My lips parted in shock. "I'm not spoiled." I protested adamantly. "No? My girls not a whiny little brat who pouts until she gets her way?" Knox teased playfully. "I-I just didn't want you to be hungry." I defended weakly, a bit embarrassed from his observation. "Hmm my spoiled girl," He paused giving my neck a small squeeze before continuing, "such good manners." --- Annie had always been different to say the least. Maybe it was the revolving door of people that came and went in her life or maybe it was the memories of events her mind worked so hard to suppress. Either way, she had a lot to fear in a world that was seemingly out to get her. Knox wasn't too far off from Annie. His family life wasn't perfect and he had a knack for getting in trouble. He was blunt, rash, crude. He certainly didn't care for anybody's feelings, well at least anybody but Annie's.
