:. Saving Louise .: Doctor Who
"Wait, you mean you've never been on an adventure in your life?" I asked her.
Louise shook her head. "No. Me Mam and Granmum and I --" She cut herself off, this time her vivid blue eyes stared up at the dark sky. "I guess, I've never had time to. . . Or never really had the opportunity. . . Me Mam needs me. So does Granmum. . . I can't just leave them. We all need each other."
"What if I told you," I said quietly -- almost a whisper --, "that we could go anywhere -- you and me -- anywhere you wanted to go. . . And still be back in time for tea or whenever your Mum and Granmum needed you?" I looked from my hands intertwined with hers then to her eyes. Eyes that upon hearing my words shined brightly.
"But. . . but that's almost impossible." She stuttered shaking her head, eyes still shining at the idea. "What do you even mean? I mean -- how is that even pos-"
I tapped Louise's nose."It's more possible than you think. Now there's one thing, that before we do anything you must do," I stared at her, voice turning serious and watching as she slightly gulped and nodded her head. "Louise?"
In that moment, with the one hand of hers I held now, I squeezed it, and then pulling a key out of my pocket, I placed it in her hand. Clara's old key to the Tardis was now her's.
Louise stared down at the key, bewildered. Looking back up she opened her mouth as behind me, the invisible shield tore itself away from the Tardis and the blue police box appeared. "How did you -" Louise looked back down at the key than at me as a smile broke out across from my face and I pulled her towards the Tardis.
To go on another adventure.
