Magnus Wingheart never knew about the world of Arkane. He never knew about the past his older brother, Drake, had kept hidden from him, nor that his parents had died at the hands of an inhuman enemy in a city he had never known to exist. When that enemy resurfaces, sixteen-year-old Magnus, Drake, and their former guardian, Cecil Handel, become ensnared in a deadly hunt for an elusive object they know almost nothing about. Their only escape entails confronting their pursuer-the immortal madman Daimos Recett, the pivotal figure in a grand scheme that arches across the realms of existence and threatens all of Arkane.

Carved with an ever-deepening plot, Wingheart: Luminous Rock weaves magic, technology, and science in an enthralling tapestry that rends the line between fantasy and reality.

Siderion is mere minutes away from becoming a member of the Order and earning his first rank stripe when Serkha City is attacked and his life is changed forever. In a world full of mages and monsters, nothing is safe. - - - - - - - - There were lots of other mages gathered in the plaza, addressing the arkaetres they had ridden with curt nods or short dialogue. The doors to the building were big enough for even the largest dragon to enter, but still only a small imperfection in the huge structure. I knew the door was the size of a dragon because I could see one to compare it to, flying above the dome. Then I realized that the dragon was black. "Dad? Look up there." He looked up and cocked his head in confusion. "I've never seen anything like that before." The beast was quite high in the sky and didn't look particularly threatening, but it still spooked me to see an arkaetre that wasn't white. After watching the shadowy dragon for a few more moments, my dad said slowly, "It seems like they have no rider. We should probably tell the Council about this." I nodded and followed him inside the dome. "But what about the opening ceremony?" I asked nervously, looking down at my watch. "We've got some time." - - - - - - - - Remember to comment and vote for the chapters you enjoy! Any and all feedback is appreciated. ❝ Let's rule a Kingdom, shall we? ❞ •○• When human slave turned Fae Handmaiden, Cara Arnel found herself in the Kingdom she had initially been fleeing to, alive, breathing and waking up with changes both physically prominent and mentally revealing, she could no longer ignore her ominous visions. •○• The guilt of Seraphima's last memory weighed heavily on Cara, devastating her just as much as Arion while Damien was itching to get a glimpse of his Soulbound and Lucien's walls of ice were chipping away. With her Alpha King pulling her in his orbit, came truths Cara finally uncovered. She soon realized that every person she'd met so far was crucial to the answers she'd sought. But the surprises in the power-play, the lies, the deceit, the politics, and various Royals soon failed to have their intended frazzling effect on enlightened Cara unlike those around her with each passing day. Unfortunately enough, the courtesy of the answer to who she was did not extend to the four alluringly dark pieces of her heart. It was four protective males that lusted for answers while their hearts tore apart in search of a feeling that was eating them alive. Meanwhile, threats of Killian kept rising as he steadily grew in his dormant powers and army. Cara could no longer stay still what with new alliances forming and old promises broken, both allies and foes warring. She knew there was no escaping the plans for the future laid out so brazenly. It was time to start preparing. But making choices is never easy. Thing was....this time around, Cara was much more prepared. Just not for the strikes her heart would have to take in the process. •○• BOOK 2 in the Mystic Bonds series. DO NOT READ before reading Book 1. Needs heavy editing. 1st draft. •○• #5 in planning on 13/12/21 #34 in Fae on 20/11/21 #31 in surprise on 13/12/21
