Kayla never asked to join a band, but it was the best decision she ever made. Along with her best friend Alex and new friends Luke and Reggie, Kayla joined Sunset Curve a band with the intention of taking over the world, starting with a night that should change their lives at the Orpheum. Well, it certainly changed their lives. Struggling with feelings for her bandmate, and her new found 'life', Kayla finds herself part of Julie and the Phantoms and on a dangerous path towards a threatening ghost and the life she has built begins slipping through her fingers.

Julie and her band have just played the biggest night of their life, and now must figure out how to deal with the new challenges, and opportunities. From the shadows, a figure watches as Julie and her band start to get comfortable, and a strong relationship begins to develop between Julie and Luke.
