After Autumn and her two brothers accidentally break their parent's TV with a basketball, they are all three forced to get a summer job to pay off the damage that they created.
When they get a job at the local fitness center as summer camp employees, Autumn doesn't get a very good first start. Some of the children are a little insane, and it barely takes a day before she's found someone that she's positive hates her.
She had pretty much convinced herself that this was going to be the worst summer she'd ever had, until one day she meets one of her fellow employees that she'd never noticed before. His name was Asher.
Asher isn't exactly what you'd call friendly. He's anti-social and he never seems to smile. Most people would be sure to steer clear of him, but Autumn finds herself curious to find out more about him.
When she finally gathers the nerve to actually talk to him though, she finds out he's not much nicer than his demeanor would suggest.
Autumn, however, has never really been one to give up once she's set her mind to something, and she's determined to prove he's not as spiteful as he seems.
