My name is Anna-Marie Jones, and I am a living contradiction. I was raised on the pristine, manicured lawns of the Northside, living at 114 Elm Street right between my childhood anchors, Betty Cooper and Archie Andrews. To the rest of the world, Riverdale is the town with Pep, a happy little town of Friday night football games, drive-in movies, and postcard innocence. But that's just the mask we wear.

If you look closer, the boundary lines of our town are drawn in blood. My father was the Southside Serpent King before he traded his leather jacket for a Northside mortgage, leaving me trapped directly in the middle of a socio-economic war zone. I am a Jones, which makes me royalty to the lawless Southside gangs, but I am a Vixen, trying to survive the predatory entitlement of the Northside jocks.

When Jason Blossom's body washes ashore with a bullet hole in his forehead, the fragile illusion of our perfect town shatters completely. Suddenly, a darkness looms over Riverdale, one that forces me into the orbit of a dangerous, arrogant Southside enforcer who represents everything I am supposed to fight, but also everything I violently crave. The masks are coming off, the secrets are bleeding out, and the shadows are about to haunt this town forever.
