Benina was a normal human being, an orphan at the age of 11 months. She had a life as normal as it could be for an orphan- until she turned sixteen.

She shifts into a White Tiger on her birthday, and is thrust in to a world she knows nothing about.

Her family were the strongest bloodline of shape shifters -and possibly the most powerful bloodline in the world- until a force destroyed them all, leaving an orphaned Benina behind.

Unknowing of her heritage, she is left with a pack of shifters begging her to become their Alpha, and no experience at all with being one.

She travels the world to learn the ways of an Alpha, and when she returns, trouble arises. There is a narcissistic Alpha corrupting the pack, and he doesn't want to share.

Ben wants her pack back, but certain individuals get a little jealous- and by that, I mean kidnapping, neck snapping jealous.

Has reached #26 in Fantasy and #136 in Teen Fiction.

My best friend is Willow, my second bestie is probably the main character, and I'm the red head. (All personality wise)
no offence but how tf is this girl popular if she goes into school with a tshirt saying 'happy birthday benina' on it

This is amazing, Stryder! I love how lovely it was written and how you left us thinking at the ending! I'm still confused as to how Willow and Ani knew about their best friend being a shape shifter. Oh well, I am caught on this book so might as well read more!

Show off much (just kidding I love the new twist to a girl accepting how her appearance is)
advantages of being born in august, you never have to go to school on your birthday :)
