Sword Art Online Gameverse x Reader

A gender-neutral Y/N is an introverted solo player who spends almost every moment they can grinding in the Fields of Aincrad.
Y/N find themselves distancing further from the people they say they're fighting to free; but what happens when those people decide to close the distance and help Y/N come out of their shell.

Thousands of players are left trapped in the SAO world, some panic more than others. Y/N has a more calm and rational mindset: "Kayaba Akihiko wanted people to play his game and reach the top floor, he wouldn't make it impossible, I just need to put the effort in and I'll make it... for those that can't"
