Long ago, Maui the Shapeshifter and Demigod stole the heart of Te Fiti. But once he did, everything went wrong. As he was escaping with the heart, Te Ka, another who sought the heart, struck Maui down from the sky, losing the heart and Maui's fish hook. And Maui vanished.

Now, the darkness is coming closer and closer, swallowing all islands and destroying life.

Together, you and Ari will set sail on a daring mission to find Maui, and deliver the heart to Te Fiti.
