You might know about the boy's team of Shiratorizawa Academy but have you heard of the girl's team who are rumored to be in the same level in terms of skill if not almost stronger than the boy's team?

The girl's team is headed by third year Ishiwaka Haruka, known as the girl who made Shiratorizawa Academy's High school girl's team win nationals for two consecutive years. Haruka leads a game with her sheer skill and strength knowing that she lacks the height for volleyball. She's here to prove that volleyball isn't always about height.

The boy's team, on the other hand, is led by Ushijima Wakatoshi. A left-handed wing spiker who shares the same thought with his coach: 'Simple is best.' You can win if you believe in power and height, but after watching the girl's captain play a practice match against their team made him doubt if simple is really the best.
