"I'm so glad you're back," Alaska said, wrapping her arms around me as we stood in the airport in Omaha.
Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was glad to be back or not. I had fun in the UK and I was dreading having to see Sam again, although I was planning on ignoring him as much as possible. I knew he had moved on and now had a new girlfriend, which broke my heart but I was also the one who told him to move on.
"Me too," I lied.
"You're lying," she said, calling my bluff.
"Yeah I am."
"What's wrong?" she questioned as we walked out to her car.
"I don't need to talk about it or else I'll sound like a whiny bitch," I laughed.
"Just tell me. I won't judge you."
"Yeah right. You not judging me," I scoffed.
I found this very disarming but I wanted someone to talk to and she was the only person I could talk to about anything anymore.
