When her father doesn't return while hunting, Equinox heads outside into the world for the first time. After discovering him unconscious in the woods, he refuses to tell her anything about what had happened. Equo is entranced by the outside world and discovers a hidden laboratory while exploring the forests of the Sky Kingdom. She's determined to free the experimental prisoners of the scientists before becoming one herself.
