Jake Peralta has been in a good place genuinely. But when one of his cases comes back to haunt him the whole squad jumps into action to help him. But can he handle the fact that they're risking their lives to do so? And will he be able to control the horrible thoughts that come spiralling in his mind?

Amy Santiago is in a loving relationship with her boyfriend Teddy. But is it loving? Not really. So she ends things. And she can't help but hope this means something for her and Jake.

When Jake and Amy go missing will the squad be able to save them in time? Everything should work itself out.

In a panicked hurry, he runs out of the precinct to get home as fast as he can, however before he can get in his car, he hears gunshots from outside the garage and goes to look. There he finds a man with a gun, one person being held with the barrel pointed at them and the other with a GSW in their leg. He tries to disarm the shooter himself but catches bullets in the process, leaving him critical. requested by gabgabssssssss Spoilers for Season 7, especially the finale!

After weeks of working one gruelling drug case, Jake finally gets a lead that can get him to one of the biggest suppliers in the city. However when the bust goes sideways, Jake ends up disappearing into thin air, his badge and gun discarded on the road and his radio smashed into thousands of pieces. After a year of searching, the nine-nine are still unable to find the missing detective and Amy, as well as the other detectives on that case, start to believe he's dead. By some miracle, however, one year after the detective goes missing, he shows up randomly in the precinct to report a crime. The one problem, he doesn't recognise the building or anyone inside of it.
