A girl broken by the death of her brother and her best friend seems fine on the outside but is torn from the inside.
A boy struggling to handle the death of his girlfriend looks like he's on a good path of recovery but soon falls back down to where he started. Will the two ever find true happiness?

"What? How did I get here? Did I... we... oh my god, did we...?"

She nodded, "Ye we had s..."

"Argh, shut up!" I can't believe myself. She definitely wasn't the cure to these nightmares.

In fact, it's even worse than before.

"Give me a chance. I'm not all bad... plus, he never deserved, you and him both knew that." He was so persuasive. His lips, those that brought me to believing he was worth a try.

The Devil's Crybaby by Alywinter
55 parts Ongoing Mature
She was just a normal girl-fragile, timid, and painfully ordinary. A quiet life, a rich home, a mind full of small dreams, and a heart that feared everything outside her comfort zone. She cried easily, complained often, and clung to safety like a child grips a blanket. The only thing she ever truly loved was the peaceful world of nature around her. Until one night, her world was shattered. Dragged from her bed at midnight by a man with dead eyes and blood on his hands, she wakes to find herself captive to a stranger who refuses to tell her why. He's cold. Brutal. Unforgiving. He was the opposite. A man made of sharp edges and darker intentions. Hot-tempered, cold-hearted, and dangerously loyal to only one person, his brother. A brother who once lost an eye because of him. A debt he carries like a curse. When that brother saw her at a wedding and whispered that he wanted her, he didn't question it. He didn't hesitate. Just darkness, a rough grip, and the beginning of a nightmare she couldn't understand. She begged him to explain. He stayed cold. She believed he must have kidnapped her out of love, that maybe he was just too proud to admit it. Maybe he was pretending to be heartless because he didn't know how to feel. So she fell for him. Hopelessly. Foolishly. Entirely. She followed him, confessed to him, clung to the tiniest moments of softness she thought she saw in him. While he protected her from danger, she believed it meant something. While he stared at her with anger, she mistook it for hidden affection. But he never told her the truth. She was never his. She was a promise. A gift. A girl stolen to be handed over to someone else. And by the time she realizes the truth, her heart already belongs to the wrong man.
