She was a surprise. An unwanted one. I didn't know what to do or think or how to even act and I am an ANBU, one of top ninjas in my village. At first I was going to ignore her very existence, she was not meant to be afterall, but then...when I looked into her eyes, I felt a warmth engulf me and a feeling of happiness. 

I wasn't alone anymore she, gave me a place to call home...Now I'm glad I didn't abandon her in my self pity.

Kakashi Hatake has lost a lot of people in his life before he was twelve. His mother, father his two best friends, Obito and Rin. He knew he was bound to lose more. This thought caused him to spiral. He went on dozens of missions to make sure he was occupied and when he was home Guy always issued a challenge. 

He thought he'd be alone forever. He didn't mind. Then a surprise came. An unwanted, tiny adorable surprise. Having been alone for so long he had absolutely no idea what to do. But he gave it a try. He guessed being relied on wasn't so bad after all, and neither was being a big brother.
