The McKinneys and the Simmons have had eyes filled with contempt turned on each other for years, down to the birth of Scott and Teresa. The pair became two friends destined to become lovers despite their family disputes and a slight complexion disparity.

Scott and Teresa have a lot to learn about love, hardships, and sacrifice. But how can their relationship survive when all that is around them is hatred?
