Allison Young is far from an innocent person. She knows that. The girl known as the Copycat was only eleven years old when she was thrown into a sea of darkness with no choice but to lose herself in order not to drown. With blood staining her hands and a forever scarred mind, the fifteen year old girl is seemingly damaged beyond repair when she finds herself caught up in the ever-growing conflict between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark.

Then another teenager finds himself jumping into the very same sea in which she was thrown, happy and afloat, with a heartfelt innocence Allison can never regain and a hope so bright it reignites the hope she thought she'd lost for good. In a final attempt to save herself, Allison Young sticks by this teenage boy, trusting that when the time comes, he'll be strong enough to keep her head above the water without being drowned in the process.
